Equipment

All of the equipment in the Makerspace is available for the public to use. Adult supervision is required for anyone under the age of 11. 

The 3D printer and the Cricut Maker require training in advance. Contact Sarah French to make a training appointment. Once trained, you may ask at the Circulation desk to use the equipment. You will need your library card. If you do not have a library card with us, we can provide a guest checkout.

All other equipment may be used at any time. You may also request training or assistance by contacting Sarah French.

Equipment available: 

  • Lulzbot Mini 3D Printer (cost: first print free then 20 cents/gram)graphic
  • Brother Computerized Sewing Machine
  • Cricut Maker (cutting machine)
  • Craft Oven
  • Accuquilt (fabric cutting dies)
  • Big Shot Sizzix (die cutting and embossing)
  • Minc Machine (foil applicator)
  • Button Maker (cost: small 10 cents, large 25 cents each)
  • Scanner (for photos, documents, film negatives, and slides) 
  • Thermal Laminator (cost: 15 cents/pouch)

Conversion & Archiving Equipment

Convert and archive your memories using our equipment! We have the following equipment available for the public to use at any time: 

  • Vinyl to CD or Digitalphoto of equipment
  • VHS to DVD or Digital
  • 8mm and Super 8 to Digital
  • Cassette to CD or Digital
  • CD or DVD to Digital
  • Negatives/Slides to Digital
  • Photos/Documents to Digital

 

 

There is no cost to use our conversion equipment. We also offer a full-service option for a fee.
