Willie Warhawk and Chancellor King visited the library! UW-W students are always welcome at the public library, and it’s easy to get a library card using your Hawk Card! We are also thrilled to partner with UW-W in several ways, including the following:

Every Monday and Wednesday from 12:00-1:30 p.m., UW-W students offer technology support in Study Room 2 as part of the IGeTS program!

On Tuesday, 10/27 at 5:30 p.m., UW-W art education students are hosting an art class for teens and tweens in Meeting Room 2 as part of the Community-Based Learning program! Learn more about how we’re involved with the Community-Based Learning program here.

On Saturday, 11/7 at 1:00-2:30 p.m., UW-W students are offering a Teen Tutoring and Q&A session in the library’s Teen Space!

This semester, we are hosting a UW-W practicum student who is minoring in Library Science! She is assisting us with several projects while she learns more about working in a public library.

As always, we are grateful to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for their partnerships and community support! Additional information about the library’s programs can be found here.
